Questions About Depression
A question about depression?
Okay. i've been depressed for a while now, 6 months i'd say. and lately it's become so bad that i've just stopped feeling all together, almost like i've become numb, a spend hours just staring into space, getting easily agitated if someone shakes me out of it. i used to sit there and be really sad, upset and depressed but it's like all my feelings have compressed in the bottom of my stomach and i can't feel anymore, anymore happiness. have i gone beyond the point of help? will i be able to get out of this? i'm so frightened.
Go see a doctor, discuss your feelings and be open, dont leave anything out.
I use to feel that way, not eat, not go out, stay in my room all day and all night.
I now am on anti depressants and i am very happy, but i had to goto the doctors first.
Good luck :]
You need to find someone you can talk to about your feelings.
Being alone with your thoughts sometimes can be worse than what you think opening up will be.
You will not just "snap out of it" on your own.
Depression is dangerous when not treated properly.
Anti-Depressants are overrated.Tests say they are no better than taking nothing, and from experience it true and Psychiatrists and therapists are a complete waste of time.
I suggest you help yourself really and try to find out why you are depressed.Join a club,do exercise
meet people :)
When it started, why didn't you see your doctor then? See him/her now.
