ADHD- Do Celexa and Adderall mix?
I am currently taking 20mg of Celexa due to a recent loss. I have been on it for 3 months and it has helped me. I was also just diagnosed with adult ADD. I am seeing two different therapists right now, one is for my depression, the other is more temporary for diagnosing the severity of my ADD. My psychologist helping me with grief thinks the antidepressant is making my ADD worse and wants me to get off of it before I go on Adderall, thinks it's bad to mix the two- The psychologist who is suggesting adderall thinks I should stay on the Celexa since it's a low dose and it's been helping me. When I look online it says there is an interaction. Can someone who has used both at the same time give me their feedback? My ADD is pretty severe and now that I figured out what is wrong with me, I would like to start treatment for it but I am a little afraid of being on too many head drugs. Thanks!

made me kinda spacey and jittery at first for a week or two but then it did me great being on both 20mg celexa and 40 mg adderall. I am still taking both and also an anxiety drug xanax 1mg-3mg day. I am doing better on them than I was of. I am diagnosed with deppression/anxiety and ADD. I would give it a try if I were you, it's not gonna kill you or cause brain damage, worst it will do is make you feel a little weird at first, but if you have any suicidal thought get help and tell someone fast. Good Luck
