Tryptomer 10 mg????????????i have fibromyalgia and my doctor has prescribed me tryptomer 10mg every night after dinner, is it safe to take this medication? what are the sideeffects? the prob is i have always taken homeopathic medicines pls help

Tryptomer active ingredient is Amitriptyline, also known as Elavil and Endep. It is one of the drugs listed as being helpful with fibromyalgia. It can help reducing pain and help with sleeping in those with fibro. I have been taking 10mg Endep for about a year or so now, along with Neurontin for Fibromyalgia. The side affects may cause dry mouth, constipation, weight gain or loss, and low blood pressure on standing, blurred vision etc. I have included a link for you that you might find helpful
