Other reasons for missing periods?
I'm 47, not menopausal, it's been checked, definitely not pregnant, celibate many years, but I get very bad period pains that never lead into anything these days. I had three 'bleeds' last year, the last in the summer - now nothing. My medication for the crohn's hasn't changed, I'm in a flare up, but that never stopped it before, any ideas please?
stress, nerves
Weight Gain or Loss Can Cause A Change In Your Cycle
As Well As Stress & Poor Diet
You might not be menopausal, but maybe you're premenopausal? Woman can have irregular or even no periods at all a few years before they even hit menopause. Or maybe it's a change in your diet or stress or something.
Possible stress.
Also get checked for pcos polycystic ovarian syndrome. I get that pain when i miss a period too and last year was my most regular for years. Before then i was lucky if i had more than 4 bleeds a year.
Can i ask, are you overweight?
