What is the mortality rate of shingles?
Herbes Zoster also known as Shingles is a painful virus that is caused by the same virus as the Chicken Pox and has no known mortality rate. You can get other complications from this virus but deaths are known to be rare.
It's incredibly small. Shingles can only be fatal if it advances to a major organ and hinders its function, which is a rare occurance. Statistics are nearly impossible to dig up because it is so unlikely.
