Smarter Salad
Hey, I eat a lot of salads for lunch, and I'm getting real bored of them. How can I make a more appealing salad that packs a lot of nutrition inside it? Ideas?

Lots of protein here, so you'll stay full, and the strawberries are so yummy and add a great sweet contrast.I mostly add fruit juices which make it testking 1Y0-A05 more chew and when i want to make it more healthy then i add big amount of pineapple. Top it with fat-free Dorothy Lynch Salad Dressing..........mmmmmm, so good! If you don't like spinach, omit the spinach leaves and just use the salad greens.testking 642-373
Easy and Nutritious
Here's a real easy salad that not only tastes good, but is good for you. Mix salad greens and spinach leaves together, then add drained mandarin oranges
and sunflower nuts. Top it with fat-free Dorothy Lynch Salad Dressing..........mmmmmm, so good! If you don't like spinach, omit the spinach leaves and just use the salad greens.

I love salads, but would become bored if I ate the same combination all the time.
I start with any kind of greens(lettuce) that I happen to have. Then I toss in some leftover veggies from the day before, even green beans. I always have bacon bits in the frig so add a few of them. shred or grate some cheese over the top. Top with any leftover salads, i.e. tuna, chicken, or cold leftover meats, steak or chicken. Top with your favorite dressing and I guarantee it will be as good as any chefs salad you can buy and it will never be the same.
Smarter Salad
Have you tried adding fresh or canned fruit to the salad? pineapple, peaches, and pears are my faves. Also, you can use some of the juice off the fruit in place of salad dressing--it's good!
How about addition by
How about addition by subtraction? A greek salad with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, cucumber and feta cheese. Dress with olive oil and red wine vinegar, plus some salt and pepper. Simple, delicious and easy.
I found a really tasty salad
I found a really tasty salad that's great for summer...
Mix baby greens, cut up strawberries, feta cheese, cooked, chilled, and chopped chilled strip steak, a small handful of almonds, red onions, and a few black olives in a salad bowl. Then, just before you're ready to serve, make a mix of olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette and sprinkle on top.
Lots of protein here, so you'll stay full, and the strawberries are so yummy and add a great sweet contrast.
Enjoy!
