Honey Banana Whole Wheat Bread Recipe

  • 2/3 cup warm water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon butter or vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 egg (1/4 cup egg substitute is best)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cup whole-wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons dry yeast

    Method
    Add all ingredients to bread pan in the order given. Use whole wheat setting on bread machine.
