Plastic Surgeon

Look for one who is BOARD CERTIFIED PLASTIC AND RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGEON. Not a "cosmetic" surgeon, who can be any physician, including a non-surgical trained dermatologist. By the way, their office people will lie about their credentials, so beware.

I would try the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons for a list of surgeons in your area. Also, see if you can find programs of plastic surgery meetings and see who is asked to lecture on what topics. This will give you some idea that they are respected by their peers.

If a doctor cannot pass the boards in his or her specialty, no way are they going to touch me.
