Recommended Browsers
Our site has numerous opportunities for you to provide us with information such as signing up for a free membership and creating a free ThirdAge HomePage. To do this, you need a forms-capable browser. We recommend you navigate our site using Netscape Navigator 3.0 and above, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 and above. Both Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer are forms-capable, table-friendly browsers.
Images
Check the options/preferences setting in your browser and set images to load automatically--this is usually the default setting. If you see a generic icon for each image on a Web page, then auto-load is not set. If you do not wish to auto-load images, you can click on that generic icon to manually load whichever image you want to see.
If images don't display after you have set your options/preferences to auto-load, there may be an error with the server or your connection. Reload the page. If that doesn't work, quit your browser application and restart it. Note: You may need to restart your machine if your browser application crashed earlier.
Text
Everyone experiences eyestrain from time to time after spending hours staring at a computer monitor. To alleviate this stress, you can change the text size, styles, and colors your browser displays. Go to your font options/preferences to change this information.
