Festive Tablecloth
Youll need:Butcher paperColorful craft paperGlueCrayons/Magic markersIf there are small kids in the house, occupying them with this craft on Thanksgiving Day is a great way to keep them out of the kitchen. Before anyone sets the table, just let them unleash their imaginations on a paper tablecloth. They can color directly onto the cloth, and even add personality to your place-mats and utensil pockets. -
Acorn Wreath
Youll need:
- Acorns
- Wicker wreath
- Newspaper
- Seasonal flowers and leaves
- Ribbons
- Hot glue gun
- Glue stick
- Wreath hanger
Cover a work area with newspaper and set the wicker wreath down flat. After heating your glue gun, apply glue to the bottom of an acorn and attach it to the wreath standing straight up. Repeat with more acorns, gluing a line of nuts around the wreath. Continue until the front side of the wreath is covered in acorns. (Leave the opposite side of the wreath alone so that it can lay flat.)
Then fill the empty spaces between the acorns with flowers and leaves. Decorate with ribbons or bows. Attach the wreath hanger, and youre all set.
