Home Pages Retirement: FAQ |

Why were ThirdAge Home Pages discontinued?
ThirdAge is currently undergoing a modernization project to better serve the needs of our community, and the technology behind Home Pages is not transferable to the new system. In the coming months, we will be updating and improving every aspect of ThirdAge. Along with a brand-new design and increased content, there will also be new, better ways to connect -- and share -- with other ThirdAgers.
When were ThirdAge Home Pages discontinued?
There were three phases:
- New Home Page signups were discontinued in June 2007.
- Existing Home Page members were able to edit their pages until January 28, 2008.
- Home Pages were turned off on March 31, 2008.
Is ThirdAge going to have any kind of member pages in the future?
Though ThirdAge is no longer supporting Home Pages, in the future we will enable members to create profile pages where you will be able to store pictures and personal information, and share your stories with other ThirdAge members.
What has happened to the files, photos and other documents that were on my Home Page?
Your files have been removed from the Web site and are no longer be accessible. ThirdAge will never use the information that was contained on your Home Page in any way.
