The son of a Texas oil man enlists in the Air Force and begins training to become the pilot of a fighter jet. One day, near the end of his training, the young man calls his father.
"Dad," he says, "yesterday on my final checkout flight, I broke the sound barrier."
"Don't worry, son," the father says. "I'll pay for everything."
