A teacher asks a student, "What would happen if one of your ears was cut off?"

"I'd be deaf in that ear, teacher," the student says.

"And if the other ear was cut off?"

"I'd be blind."

"Blind?" asks the teacher. "Why do you say that?"

The student replies: "Because my glasses would fall off."
