Simplified Spelling

It's the first day back at school after spring break, and the teacher is asking the students about their vacations. She turns to one little fellow and asks what he did during the break.

"We visited my grandmother in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania," he replies.

"That sounds like an excellent vocabulary word," the teacher says. "Can you tell the class how you spell that?"

The boy thinks about for several minutes, scratches his head, looks at the ceiling and floor. Finally he says, "You know, teacher, come to think of it, we went to Ohio, too."
