The legends of space exploration hold that when Astronaut Neil Armstrong first walked on the moon, he not only gave his famous "one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" statement, but a strange reference to a Mr. Gorsky -- only on the closed communications system.
Among those gems, according to reports, he said over NASA system: "Good luck Mr. Gorsky." Now, there obviously was no Gorsky in either the U.S. or Soviet space programs and when Armstrong was queried on the statement he simply smiled.
But Armstrong broke his enigmatic silence on the statement in 1995 when questioned by a reporter in Tampa Bay. Seems the Gorsky referred to had passed on so the First Man on the Moon told all.
Armstrong said that while playing baseball as a child, a teammate hit a ball which landed near a bedroom window of Armstrong's neighbors, a Mr. and Mrs. Gorsky. As Neil reached down to pick up the ball, Mrs. Gorsky was heard shouting: "Sex? You want sex?? You'll get sex when the kid next door walks on the moon!"
