Intimacy & Incontinence
Intimacy & Incontinence
I just recently started experiencing the urge to urinate during sex. It's getting harder and harder to hold back. I'm worried that it's actually going to happen one day, so I've been avoiding having sex with my wife. But now that's causing a rift in our relationship, because she's wondering why I haven't been affectionate. She even asked me the other day if I was seeing anyone else?! I know this has gone too far, but I just don't know how to tell her that I'm worried I'm going to leak during sex. What a mood killer!! Any advice?
Tell Her
Tell her. After all the time together she should be willing to help in resolution of the problem. Then get your urine and prostate checked. You may have a UTI or prostate infection or worst case you could have prostate cancer.I am a urologist.
1. Tell your wife. You
1. Tell your wife. You should be able to tell her anything, including this. Not telling needlessly leaves her to wonder and worry over what has come between you. Potentially, the lack of communication could lead to a much larger problem than the medical issue.
2. See your doctor to find out what is causing the problem and what solution will work best for you. Talking candidly to your doctor is the first step in resolving this. Good luck!

you will do more harm if you don't tell her.you could take her to the beach or anywhere around nature, tell her you love her so much, express your love more and then tell her why you've not been available.
