Seize the Day!
Dear Lois Through photo personals on the Internet, I met what I believe to be a great girl. We are both 30, run in the same circles, and have made the first step of contacting each other via phone. However, I think we are both a bit apprehensive about meeting in person even though we know our physical traits from pictures. On the phone we hit it off real well. I'm just not real sure what to do. J Dear J Go for it. You have too much to lose if you don't make an effort to see her. Remember, the worst thing that can happen is you won't like her. My best advice: meet on neutral ground. Make it a luncheon or drink date so that you're not stuck for the whole evening if you don't like what you see. Also, the same goes for her: She may not like what she sees, so a short meeting in neutral territory gives her an easy way to end the date, too. Bottom line: you'll never know if you don't try!
