I'm in love with technology. I am in awe of human creativity and potential, and I see technology as a way for all of us to extend ourselves beyond our personal or culturally perceived limitations. And I've seen it happen.
Take my friend Dave, who lost his vision at 15. With new technology that reads out loud what's on a Web site or in an email, he communicates as easily as any of us with sight. His professional and personal worlds are richer as a result.
I used to exchange email with a young man in Bosnia. This contact enabled me to understand what was happening there from a much different perspective than what I could glean from TV or radio. Our relationship humanized the situation, made it real.
I'm here to help you use technology in positive ways, extending and expanding your own creative powers, productivity, and communication skills. And, I want to do so in a way that is enjoyable, funny, and personable.
