Thyroid cancer is actually one of the least deadliest cancers. The survival rate for thyroid cancer in the United States is around 97 percent.
Most thyroid cancers are very curable. The common types of thyroid cancer are papillary and follicular, which are the most curable. In younger patients, cancers have a more than 97% cure rate if treated properly.
