Last night, Jennifer Grey and her partner, Derek Hough, danced the quickstep and scored this seasons first perfect score.
The duo danced a sexy rumba to Foreigner's "Waiting For a Girl Like You" during the Instant-Dance challenge, which gives the couples about 30 minutes to finalize the choreography to a song randomly picked at the beginning of the show.
Grey and Hough's routine was a combination of fast and slow movementsall went over well with the judges. Judge Bruno Tonioli called it "flawless," and Len Goodman said, "that's what makes great dancing, and that's what we've just seen."
Their quickstep earlier in the night earned them nines across the board, which gave them atotal of57 out of 60 points.
Despite Greys knee problems, she gave both performances her all, resulting in Tonioli comparing their quickstep to that of a Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers number.
Not bad.
"You're capable of brilliance, he commented. You've got it in you; forget your trouble."
Does Jennifer have it in the bag? We guess all those Dirty Dancing rehearsals are paying off.
