Cowper's Glands: Why Withdrawal Isn't Enough
Cowper's glands are two pea-size glands located below the prostate gland that secrete a drop or two of lubricating fluid into the urethra before ejaculation. This fluid usually also contains a few sperm--which is one reason that withdrawal is not a recommended method of birth control.
