G-Spot (Graffenberg Area): The Debated Pleasure Zone
A debate about the existence and importance of the G-spot has been going on for many years. Now a gynecologist in Malaysia says he's identified two more spots within the vagina that have functions in sexual arousal, the A-spot and the U-spot. Named for Ernst Graffenberg, the German scientist credited with its discovery, the G-spot is thought to be a mound of tissue on the front upper wall of the vagina that fills with blood during arousal.
But what about the other two? Between the G-spot and the opening to the cervix, the A-spot is said to increase lubrication during intercourse. On the other side of the G-spot is found the U-spot, possibly another source of sexual pleasure. Most likely, these spots are all part of the extended clitoris--so don't spend your life looking for tiny spots of pleasure when you have the clitoris ready at hand! Explore the nerve endings in and around the vagina, but realize that it isn't necessary for a woman to experience an orgasm from her vagina to have great and normal intercourse. Use your clitoris and the A, U, and G spots will chime in.
