Boomers Can Save Medicare

A Medicare card, with several areas of the card obscured to protect privacy. There are separate lines for Part A and Part B, each with its own date. There are no lines for Part C or D, as a separate card is issued for those benefits by the private insurance company.

 

For all the speeches delivered by the politicians and all the ink spilled by the cognoscenti, everyone is missing the point. It's not that the 77 million Baby Boomers in the U.S. are going to bankrupt Medicare. The point is just the opposite. However ironic it may seem, this new, gigantic aging cohort is going to save the social insurance program.
