Heavy Bleeding
I am 49, have had a mirena (which fell out), have had an ablation, and a d & c and am still experienceing very heavy bleeding and continuous bleeding - up to 35 days. Anyone have any ideas as the medical profession haven't helped?
To Chris
Stomach upset is very normal. A couple years ago, I felt nauseaous seemingly all the time. It is very similar to morning sickness with pregnancy. I am 52 yrs. old now and thankfully don't experience it that much now. I do sometimes get it along with severe hot flashes or cold sweats. Thankfully, those don't happen all the time anymore.

Thanks Kat, I know what
Thanks Kat,
I know what you mean about it being similar to morning sickness. When I was pregnant I thought I would die and this past week it almost felt the same way. I used to get sick when I would drink coffee, even the smell maked me sick and now at certain times I get that same feeling. I am almost 50 and I know for certain that I am not pregnant so I am glad to know it is normal.
Thanks again,
Chris
Stomach problems
Hi Chris, would you believe this is the 2nd time I'm trying to respond. First, it said I wasn't authorized to post. Then I signed in & it wouldn't let me submit after typing quite abit. Arghhhh, this new site is gonna make me stop trying eventually.
Anyway, the transition from peri-menopause to post menopause is long & skipping & restarting periods after months is pretty typical. I used to get nausea & stomach problems before & during my periods. The extra stress in your life right now could have brought the period on. Crickett53
Up set stomach during menopause
Hi Ladies,
I was wondering if this is normal (ha ha) for menopause. I have been having a long period again after 3 months of nothing but the last couple of days I have had an upset stomach. I have been stessed somewhat because of the union contract my husband is going through right now and I think that may have something to do with the longer period and upset stomach. Could someone tell me if this is normal.
Thanks,
Chris
