Menopause doesn't have to be the hormonal hurricane women have faced in the past. Mood swings, hot flashes, depression ... the list goes on. But many women still rely on outdated information when trying to adjust to "the change."
The National Institute on Aging (NIA) has a free booklet, titled "Menopause," which explains the changes women go through as their bodies change. Box 8057, Gaithersburg, MD 20898-8057; 800-222-2225; or online.
