The best way to boost your memory is using a technique that matches your learning style, says Corinne Gediman, author of Brainfit. Take this test to understand how your mind works, and find out how to remember even better.

When visual learners want to remember something, says Gediman, they should turn it into a picture. If you want to remember youre parked in row eight, for example, envision the figure eight in your mind. Mostly Bs Your memory style: AUDITORY Odds are you prefer hearing books on tape over reading them, and pay more attention to whats being said than done. Thats because youre among the 30% of the population who are auditory learns --retaining and recalling what you know by ear. To remember anything better, Gediman advices, repeat what you said out loud to help you keep the facts straight. Mostly Cs Your memory style: PHYSICAL Do you get the urge to touch different textures? Are you good at hands-on-tasks? Chances are you join the 7% of us who are kinesthetically inclined -- which means you learn best by doing, and using your sense of touch.
