50 Shades' Hubby "Cooperative"

EL James, who penned the phenomenally successful "Fifty Shades" erotica trilogy, got all teary-eyed during an appearance in Connecticut on Wednesday, May 2nd, when scores of women screamed and vied to get her autographs. The attendees had paid $25 to see her and many came from far away.

"I'm pretty impressed by this turnout," the James reportedly told event host, R.J. Julia Booksellers owner Roxanne Coady. "This is really f***ing phenomenal. I didn't foresee this at all."

According to People Magazine, the audience "didn't hold back with their personal questions for the author, whose books are holding firm at number one, two and three on the bestseller list."

People reports that one of the questions was "How did James's husband react to seeing her sexual fantasies on paper?"

"It was a very considered study," James joked in response. "My husband still rolls his eyes and says 'God, what do we got to do now?' He was very cooperative."

James has a multi-million dollar book deal in the U.S. She was first published by a small Australian company.

"I don't think my life is going to change hugely," she told People Magazine. "I'm looking forward to getting back to my house and my Ugg boots and not washing sometimes, and getting back to writing."
