Has Mark Wahlberg gone crazy?
No, don’t worry—the actor is just filming on the set of Ted, his new movie about a man whose teddy bear comes to life because of a childhood wish. Filming began last week in Swampscott, Mass. and Wahlberg’s hometown of Boston.
Seth Macfarlane, voice actor and creator of the popular animated show Family Guy, wrote the screenplay for Ted. MacFarlane, 37, will also act as the movie’s director, producer and the voice of Ted the bear. This marks his first-ever feature film.
Wahlberg and MacFarlane will co-star alongside Black Swan’s Mila Kunis, who also does a main voiceover on Family Guy.
Ted’s release is currently set for July 13th, 2012.
