America's Next Top Model Offers Better Top Prize

As America's Next Top Model prepares to enter its 15th season, the producers of the show have taken steps to make it appear more legitimate. This year's winner will receive a fashion spread in Vogue Italia and Beauty in Vogue, 2 of the more reputable magazines in the fashion industry. Previous winners have received a spread in Seventeen magazine, which is usually not associated with high fashion.

In addition to the better fashion spread, more notable fashion experts have been added to the show. These experts include: photographers Matthew Rolston and Patrick Demarchelier, designers Diane Von Furstenberg, Zac Posen, and Roberto Cavalli and fashion editor Talley. Previous judges Nigel Barker and Andre Leon Talley will continue to be on the show.

In the past critics have attacked the show saying it is more concerned with gimmicks and drama then modeling. Supporting the critics claim is the fact that none of the previous winners have gone on to become a highly successful sought after model. In fact, the previous winners who have gained notoriety have done so for other reasons, such as Season 1 winner Adrianne Curry who went on to marry former Brady Bunch star Christopher Knight and season 7 winner CariDee English who hosted her own TV show titled 'Pretty Wicked'.

The 15th season of "America's Next Top Model" is set to debut Wednesday September 8th at 8pm Eastern on The CW.About America's Next Top Model:America's Next Top Model (often shortened to Top Model or abbreviated as ANTM) is a reality television show in which a number of women compete for the title of America's Next Top Model and a chance to start their career in the modeling industry.
