Insomnia? Net Quiz You Can Sleep With

Think sleeping is when your brain takes some time off? The National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) has an online test to find out what you really know about the time you spend in dreamland.

While your body does rest to maintain physical and mental health, sleeping is a very active state, sleep experts say. The online quiz can help you learn what's needed to create a healthy sleep routine and provides information on the symptoms of the disorder known as sleep apnea.

Should you fail the quiz, the Web site has further information on how to spend those quiet hours more peacefully.

Be careful driving in the early morning and mid-afternoon when the body naturally becomes very sleepy. From around midnight to 7 a.m. the body is primarily programmed for sleep, while the mid-afternoon is also when the human system would like to shut down for awhile.
