Consider Trusts in Estate Planning

Estate planning is part of any thorough retirement plan and Money.com's retirement page has a good section on trusts. Once considered only a tool for the very wealthy, trusts are now used by just about anyone who wants to address their family's unique circumstances.

Trusts are the most versatile tools in estate planning, allowing you to accomplish such disparate goals as providing for heirs who are minors, disabled or from previous marriages, as well as naming a loved one to manage your assets if you become incapacitated.

The Money.com site walks you through the various steps and suggests ways trusts can work for you. The site also offers advice on managing your 401(k), to increase returns.
