Benefits of Mind/Body Therapies

As you may already know, mind/body therapies utilize the connection between your mind and body to help you stay well and heal better. This often means combining conventional physical therapies, such as a low-cholesterol diet and exercise plan, with mental approaches, such as meditation, to help reverse heart disease.

Mind/body therapies may help improve chronic physical problems, stress-related illness and certain mental conditions. They may also speed surgical recovery time as well as help those undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment.

Go to Mind/Body Medicine to help you understand how to use mind/body wellness approaches.
