Nail a Polished Look

If you'd love to have a perfect manicured look without spending tons of dollars or hours at the salon, then take some tips from Salonweb. Here, you'll not only find manicure help, but information on what your nails reveal about your health.

First of all, always use thin coats of polish -- and if it cracks, apply a thin clear coat of polish every other night. If you get bubbles in your polish, stop shaking the bottle before you open it. Instead, roll it gently in the palms of your hands to mix it up.

There are lots of other suggestions to keep your hands looking good. You'll pick up tips on how to remove pesky polish from your cuticle and the best ways to remove your polish altogether.

But, be sure to be aware of what nail imperfections might be telling you about your health. For example, they say, curving nails or brown spots may indicate some other problems, so be sure to check with your doctor.
