I'm a vegetarian and my doctor says I'm anemic. He is telling me to start incorporating meat into my diet. But I don't want to!

I've been feeling under the weather for awhile -- really tired and dizzy. I just don't feel right. My doctor says the reason is because I'm anemic. I've been a vegetarian for years, and he knows that. But he says it is time to start incorporating red meat into my diet. I'm terrified! I want to feel better, but I just don't want to eat meat. Do I need to find a new doctor? I'm so confused!
