Arts, Beats & Eats kicked off in downtown Royal Oak for the first time. The festival, sponsored by Ford and presented by Citizens Bank, was designed to appeal to people of all ages. It has 200 performances on 10 stages, a fine arts show, and samples of local restaurants, ensuring enough entertainement for the whole family.The musical lineup will provide genres ranging from R&B, to rock, to country music. Booked from morning to night, 10 stages are hosting performances.Promoter Jon Witz is estimating more than 300,000 will attend the festival over the next four days.
