According to KCChronicle.com, homeowners are realizing that it would be more beneficial to consider remodeling projects as opposed to buying a new home.Michael Pudlik, owner of Legacy Design and Construction, believes that people are more comfortable with the idea of cutting a check to adapt to their surroundings.People, I think, are realizing that weve been in this (economic) mess now for three years, Pudlik told the paper. And theyre realizing that theyre going to be staying where theyre at, and with their employment situation, and theyre deciding that now is the time to do what theyve been meaning to do all along.And that is remodeling adding to the home rather than moving away from it.
