Since breastfeeding space at work is required by law to be provided by employers, North Iowa Community Action's "WIC" program has taken on the task of making sure more businesses around the area are complying with the law which took effect in 2010, CBS affiliate KIMT-TV reports.
According to KIMT, WIC Coordinator Carla Miller said, "It can be any place. It can be an office like we are in right now just as long as its not a bathroom stall. Somewhere private where the mom can just feel comfortable."
According to KIMT, Miller said they will also be visiting businesses to explain the benefits of having a breast feeding location for their employees.
