Brooks & Dunn continues to make a strong comeback as they have received a nomination for a tightly contested "Vocal Duo of the Year" award at the 2010 Country Music Awards. Brooks & Dunn will be competing with Joey + Rory, Montgomery Gentry, Steel Magnolia, Sugarland.Nashville star Miranda Lambert competes against herself in two categories of the first round of nominees announced Tuesday by the Country Music Association.Nominees were announced in seven categories Tuesday and the remaining five categories will be revealed Wednesday on ABC's "Good Morning America," the CMA said in a news release.Lambert's songs "The House That Built Me" and "White Liar" are nominated in the Single of the Year and Music Video of the Year categories. It was announced at the beginning of the "Last Rodeo" celebration special that aired on CBS on May 23, 2010 they both will be (re-)launching solo careers.
