Carnie Wilson, Daughter of Beach Boy, At Risk of Foreclosure
Carnie Wilson, daughter of Brian Wilson who found fame with the Beach Boys, is at risk of losing her home if she cannot come up with $1.6 million by July 21. Wilson recently appeared as herself in a cameo role in the film “Bridesmaids.”
According to legal documents filed in Los Angeles, Wilson, 43, owes back payments on her mortgage as well as late fees and penalties. Her home is a 5-bedroom house in Tarzana, CA.
Wilson achieved fame in the 1990s along with her sister Wendy Wilson and Chynna Phillips, daughter of The Mamas and the Papas’ John Phillips and Michelle Phillips. The trio formed the group Wilson Phillips and was nominated for several Grammy Awards and American Music Awards. After disbanding for a time, they’ve since reunited and continue to perform adult contemporary and pop music together.
Wilson Phillips released several popular singles in the 1990s, including “Hold On,” “Release Me,” “You’re in Love” and a cover of the Elton John hit song “Daniel.” In 2010, they released the album “Christmas in Harmony.”
In 1999, Wilson underwent gastric bypass surgery to lose weight and made the decision to broadcast her surgery online.
