Carnie Wilson has been fired for eating cheesecake!
The Wilson Phillips songstress, who once weighed 300 pounds and famously underwent gastric bypass surgery in 1999, has been sacked as spokes model for healthy food service The Fresh Diet amid allegations that she was peddling her own brand of cheesecakes.
Carnie was promoting her cheesecakes while she was supposed to be only eating our three meals and two snacks a day, Ezzy Duchman, publicist for The Fresh Diet, told Star magazine
Although the singers representatives have stated that the contract between the two parities was up, Fresh Diet insisted that Wilson cheated on her diet while encouraging others to lose weight.
We had to take her off the corporate website because she has not been a successful case. She didnt stick to it, and she didnt lose weight. We had to cut ties with her, Duchman added.
Wilson, 42, lost a vast amount of weight after undergoing gastric bypass surgery in 1999 but gained it all back after giving birth to her two daughters.
Wilson, the daughter of Beach Boys legend Brian Wilson, has since reunited the Wilson Phillips and recently released the new holiday album Christmas in Harmony.
