Caroline Kennedy Poetry Book To Celebrate Women

The Caroline Kennedy poetry book She Walks in Beauty was recently published, topping off Kennedys line of written and edited books and poetry collections.

The new book of poems will focus on the milestones of women, meditating on love, marriage, and children. As the only surviving child of the Kennedy clan, Caroline has certainly been through ups and downs in her own life.

Kennedy previously published A Family of Poems: My Favorite Poetry For Children and The Best-Loved Poems of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis."

She explained in an ABC interview that her family and friends often gifted poems to each other on birthdays and holidays, and some of the poems in her new collection include such gifts.

Recently reaching the age of 50, Kennedy went on to explain, she gained a renewed perspective on life. She said that poems have always helped her through difficult milestones in her life, and she hopes her books will do the same for readers.
