Chris Daughtry & Wife Welcome Twins to the Family

Chris Daughtry, American Idol contestant and lead singer in the band "Daughtry" has welcomed twins to the world with his wife, Deanna. The twin children were born through the assistance of a surrogate.
The announcement of the new Daughtry twns was made to fans of Chris Daughtry through the artists web site. The twins are named Adalynn Rose and Noah James.

Chris Daughtry's wife Deanna underwent a hysterectomy in 2006 and the couple used in vitro fertilization and, "had their embryos transferred to a gestational surrogate," according to Daughtry.

"Our family is overwhelmed with joy by these two precious gifts from God," Daughtry, 30, wrote on his website. "The babies are both healthy and resting. Thanks to everyone for their love and prayers," he said.
The twins will have older siblings, 12-year-old, Griffin, and 14-year-old, Hannah, from Deanna's previous marriage. Daughtry and Deanna have been married since 2000.
