Demi Moore to Play Gloria Steinem in 'Lovelace'

Demi Moore has been cast as influential feminist Gloria Steinem in the upcoming film “Lovelace,” reports say.

The biopic about 1970s porn star Linda Lovelace, who appeared in 1972’s “Deep Throat,” features Amanda Seyfried in the title role.

The Hollywood Reporter said Monday that Adam Brody and Eric Roberts have also joined the cast. Peter Sarsgaard will play Lovelace’s husband, Chuck Traynor, and Hank Azaria will appear as “Deepthroat” director Jerry Damiano.

“Lovelace,” which is being made in cooperation with Linda Lovelace’s estate, also features Sharon Stone, Wes Bentley, Robert Patrick, Bobby Cannavale and Chris Noth.

The film is currently being shot in Los Angeles and marks Moore’s return to the big screen after her split from Ashton Kutcher in the fall.
