Dennis Hopper, aged 74, passed away from cancer at home on May 29. His vast home is now on the market and is selling at the price of $6.245 million. The 15,500 square foot property, located in Venice, California, includes a main home and three loft-style, two-story condominiums. Huffington Post states that if the property was sold separately the condominiums could sell for $750,000 to $1.05 million each, and the main house, bungalow, and pools would together could sell for $3.95 million. Dennis Hopper was a renowned artist and photographer, with his work currently housed in a Los Angeles MOCA exhibit. According to Luxist, his home served as the center of his artistic output and the property was host to some of Hollywoods top celebrities.
