The Duggar family, who were seen in the TLC reality TV series "19 Kids and Counting,” are expecting their 20th child in April, Us Weekly reported Monday.
In a post on the Duggar family website, Michelle Duggar, 45, wrote, "Our whole family is so excited that God has blessed us with another child. Each one of our children are thankful to be here!"
Michelle and husband Jim Bob, 46, who works as a realtor and investor, have said before that they leave their family planning to God.
Michelle added on the website, “I was not thinking that God would give us another one, and we are just so grateful,” Us Weekly reports.
The couple's kids have typically been 16 to 18 months apart, but with their last child born in December 2009, this is the longest the family has gone without a new child, according to MSNBC.
First televised in 2008, the Tontitown, Ark., family's reality series was named "17 Kids and Counting," before the title was revised to reflect their ever-growing family.
Their 19 children range in age from 23 years to 23 months. The announcement of their 20th child coincides with the show's finale tonight, Nov. 8.
The pair’s eldest child, 23-year-old Joshua Duggar, welcomed a second child of his own in June, Us Weekly reports.
