Fantasia Barrino is riding a roller coaster of a summer. The former American Idol champion is wrestling with a new lawsuit in the wake of her admitted depression, reported suicide attempts, and subsequent hospitalization.
The season 3 winner of American Idol, now 26 years of age, has been named in a lawsuit between her reported beau, Antwaun Cook, 30, and his estranged wife, Paula, 37. Antwaun Cook and wife Paula have two sons, ages 2 and 6.
Rumors of Fantasia Barrino's affair started in late 2009, when she stepped out with COOK tattooed over her heart. A sex tape is also mentioned in the papers, which state the allegedly adulterous duo "recorded their illicit activity." Barrino's manager tells Us Magazine, "Fantasia is certain she is not responsible for the deterioration of the Cook's marriage."
