The Happiest Man in America has been found! He is Alvin Wong of Hawaii, a 65-year-old Chinese-American Jewish man. His home state of Hawaii is also the happiest state in which to live.
Wong was discovered as the Happiest Man in America after taking a Gallup Well-Being Index survey that asked participants about various aspects of their life, including emotional status, job satisfaction, health, stress levels, among others. He took the survey through his synagogue in Honolulu.
Of Wong's characteristics that also contributed to his happiness are that he is married, has children, and runs his own health company business from which he earns an income of $120,000 a year.
Wong also wields a positive attitude towards life. He told the New York Times: My life philosophy is, if you can't laugh at yourself, life is going to be pretty terrible for you.
