A customer dining at the infamous Heart Attack Grill restaurant in Las Vegas suffered an actual heart attack last weekend, authorities said.

Local station KVUU reported that the man in his 40s began experiencing chest pains while eating a “Triple Bypass Burger.”

“He was having the sweats and shaking,” a server at the restaurant told KVUU.

“Doctor” Jon Basso, the restaurant owner, said at first he thought the incident was a joke.

"One of the nurses came back to me and said, ‘Dr. Jon, we've got a patient who's in trouble,’” he said, according to KVUU.

Basso, who is not an actual doctor, called 911 and the customer was rushed to a hospital.

The Arizona-based restaurant chain, known for dishes like Flatliner Fries and Bypass Burgers, has faced criticism for glorifying bad health. Customers over 350 pounds eat for free, and a single meal can top 8,000 calories, KVUU reports.

Guests wear hospital gowns over their clothes and are served by a wait staff in nurse uniforms.

According to reports, the man is alive and recuperating.

"I actually felt horrible for the gentleman because the tourists were taking photos of him as if it were some type of stunt," Basso told KVUU.

"Even with our own morbid sense of humor, we would never pull a stunt like that."
