Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris have set their wedding date for June 18 at the Playboy mansion, and plans for their nuptials are underway.
Harris was a student at San Diego State University when she caught Hefners eye at a Halloween party at the Playboy mansion. She quit school and moved into the mansion two weeks later. The two, who have a 60-year age difference with Hefner being 84 and Harris 24, announced their engagement on Christmas Eve via Twitter.
Hefner wrote on the social media website that he gave Harris a ring, purposely leaving the message ambiguous. After a day, he confirmed the engagement by saying, To clear things up, the ring I gave Crystal was an engagement ring.
Playboy publicist and wedding planner Kellie Olisky also talked about the tone of the wedding, according to the New Yorkers. We want to have everything very muted on the table cloths, silver and white, and maybe a blush underlay. That way it stays very romantic.
According to Hefner in AOL News, the ceremony will be intimate with a close number of friends here at the mansion. No big blowout affair.
