Jack Black has an ambitious New Year's resolution for 2011. Black wants to lose fifty pounds and plans to achieve his goal on a strict exercise and diet regimen, according to Access Hollywood.
The comedian said: "I'm gonna drop fitty. I'm gonna drop fitty pounds. How many quarter-pounders with cheeses is that? I'm gonna drop 200 quarter-pounder with cheeses (sic)," he said.
"Push-ups, sit-ups, and a strict diet of raisins. That's my plan," he added.
Black also talked about his role in the upcoming movie The Muppets with Entertainment Weekly.
He said: I will be playing myself. It's kind of like Being John Malkovich. It is a new twist on the Muppets. Very cerebral and meta.
The Muppets will be the first big screen outing for the Jim Henson characters since 1999's Muppets From Space. The movie opens on November 23, 2011 in the US and February 17, 2012 in the UK.
